Do you ever listen to books? If you spend a lot of time in the car, like to multi-task, or even for the pure pleasure of it, this is a great way to get your lit fix. Many libraries carry books on CDs, PlayAways, and have out sources for audio on their websites and in the library. You can listen to outsourced books through your computer, Ipod, phone, or other PDA. LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain, and then they release the audio files back onto the net for free. Their audio is in the public domain, so you may use it for whatever purpose you wish. Please note that the these stories are public domain in the US only.
